Connection:
I interpret this picture as Obama telling Uncle Sam to came back to society for the taxes. In the photo it shows President Obama asking Uncle Sam, "Ready to rejoin the world?" Uncle Sam appears to be sad and looks like he has been down for a while. This picture may have been made either right after President Obama was elected or during/after the recession.
Mmmmm...I have a different take on this. I think it relates to Mr. Obama's new diplomacy--how he's engaging in dialogue with more countries. Is this the angle you wanted to take? should Obama be consulting with other countries--including Iran and the state of Palestine?
